I have a friend who has always dreamed of making a living as an author. In the past year she took the first step and officially became a published author. She had excerpts of a story she’d written published in a magazine. It was a start, but it isn’t her dream. Her dream is to be a well known author, one of the authors you see on the New York Times Bestselling Author list each time they publish something. But it’ll be hard for her to accomplish her dream on her own.
There is a program out there designed just for people like my friend. It consists of marketing plans, teleconferences, audio files, reports and a bookstore database, all put together with one thing in mind. Getting your book into the bookstores and getting your book to sell. The New York Times Bestselling Author List is based on numbers of books sold. This program teaches authors how to work and best that system. What program is this, you ask? It’s called 1001 Ways To Market Your Books, and it was put together by John Kremer. He’s provided 1001 ideas and suggestions and has included working examples. If you’re interested in becoming an author, you might want to check this out. It’s well worth the money and costs less than an agent would.
